ALLEGANY – HomeCare & Hospice is thrilled to announce the success of its recent "Dine Out for Hospice" collaboration with Hometown Bar & Grill, which raised $500 in support of compassionate end-of-life care. Patrons at Hometown contributed approximately $400 through in-dining donations during the campaign, and co-owners Jessica Klice and Patti Smith generously rounded up the amount to $500.
The funds raised will directly support HomeCare & Hospice’s mission to provide quality, compassionate care to patients and families across Allegany, Cattaraugus, Genesee, and Wyoming counties.
“We are so grateful for the incredible support from Hometown Bar & Grill and the Allegany community,” said Melissa Sullivan, CEO of HomeCare & Hospice. “This partnership truly demonstrates how coming together can make a meaningful impact. The funds raised will help us continue to provide comfort, dignity, and care to those who need it most.”
Jessica Klice, co-owner of Hometown Bar & Grill, shared her enthusiasm for the program and her gratitude to patrons who participated. “Our team was honored to be part of this important campaign,” she said. “We’re proud to contribute to an organization that does so much for families in need. Supporting Hospice is our way of giving back to the community we love.”
The "Dine Out for Hospice" program, launched in November during Hospice Awareness Month, brought together local restaurants to support the vital work of HomeCare & Hospice. In addition to the success at Hometown, the HomeCare & Hospice Foundation was pleased to receive funds totaling nearly $200 from campaigns at Chipotle in Olean and Charlie’s in Cuba. “We thank both restaurants for their efforts and for supporting our mission,” Mrs. Sullivan added.
Building on this year’s success, HomeCare & Hospice plans to continue the campaign annually, encouraging more restaurants to join the effort. “It’s inspiring to see businesses like Hometown step up to support hospice care,” Mrs. Sullivan noted. “We hope to see even more local partners join us next year in making a difference—one meal at a time.”
